Should you purchase from us a chair(s), a settee(s), and/or a piece of furniture and once you place the piece(s) in your home you are not satisfied with it/them, we will accept a return as long as the chair(s), settee(s) and/or furniture are in the exact same condition as when it/they left us, i.e. brand new condition, condition as determined solely by Fireside Reproductions. Once we have received the returned item(s), we will inspect the returned item(s) to determine, in fact, that the item(s) is/are returnable per the criteria described above. A restocking charge of 1% of the purchase price will be deducted from the purchase price prior to returning any funds to the client. The client is responsible for carrying insurance and all return shipping charges including, but not limited to, repacking and recrating the item(s) being returned. It is suggested that the client retain all the packing and crating material until the return period has passed. The return period is 5 days long. The 3 day return period begins the day the item(s) arrive(s) at the final destination point; the address as given to us by the client; the delivered date as established by the shipping company. The restocking charge applies to each item returned. This return policy does not apply to any custom-custom order(s) - all custom-custom sales are FINAL. There are no exceptions. ANY AND ALL CANCELED ORDERS AND ANY AND ALL REQUESTS RELATIVE TO THE THREE (3) DAY APPROVAL "WINDOW" MUST BE IN DATED LETTER FORM. THANK YOU. - NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE. ALSO, YOUR INTENT TO RETURN A PIECE OF FURNITURE OR WINDSOR MUST BE PHONED OR E-MAILED TO FIRESIDE REPRODUCTIONS NO LATER THAN THE NEXT DAY FOLLOWING THE 3RD DAY (LAST DAY) OF THE "WINDOW" IN ORDER FOR THIS RETURN POLICY TO BE VALID AND IN EFFECT. THERE IS NO REFUND AT ALL OF THE SHIPPING, PACKING AND ANY OTHER CHARGES RELATIVE TO THE RETURN OF AN ITEM.
Once you have placed an order with Fireside Reproductions for Windsors Chairs/Settee, we will begin the process of filling your order as soon as possible. Should you, prior to our starting to finish your chair(s), settee, decide to cancel your order, we will refund your deposit, less 1% of the purchase price for handling. The cancellation of your order should be in writing, just a one sentence note please; to: Fireside Reproductions, P. O. Box 20772, Columbus, OH 43220-0772. - Thank you. Should the client decide to cancel the order after finishing has begun on the order, we will refund the deposit once we have received written notice to cancel, less 1% of the purchase price as a restocking charge. Any additional charge(s) involved in the cancellation/refund process which are charged to Fireside Reproductions may also be deducted from the subject refund.
If the client has ordered a piece of furniture from us and later wishes to cancel the order, we will do the following: if we have not started work on the piece(s), we will refund the deposit less 2% of the purchase price as a handling fee. The cancellation of the client's order should be in dated letter form. Thank you. If work has been started on the order, we will refund the deposit, once we have received written notice to cancel from the client, less 25% of the purchase price as a restocking charge.
If we are making what we call a custom-custom piece for our client and work on the piece has not yet begun, we will refund his/her deposit less 2% of the purchase price for handling. Once we have begun work on your custom-custom order, a refund of the deposit would follow the sample schedule that follows:
At the 50% completion level, we ask that an additional payment (non-refundable) of 25% of the purchase price be made. This payment will bring us to the 75% completion level. At that time we will ask for the third and final (non-refundable) payment. Each payment will be, of course, noted by a written receipt, which will be sent to the client. The percentage of completion shall be determined solely by John Glenn, DBA Fireside Reproductions. I've not found any other reproduction
furniture maker with as liberal and as fair a refund/return policy
as ours. We believe we are being fair to our clients as well
as ourselves, we hope you agree. 2 - The retention of the refund covers: Drawing plans for the custom piece to exact scale, the cost of the lumber and other materials used up to the time of the Client's cancelliation and finally, the loss of that time that did not produce cash flow. |
