Cute Little Dovetailed Foot Stool* - C. 1840 - 1850 +/-

I really do not know much about this Little Stool. I bought it out of a private home when I was still in the antique business here in Columbus years ago. The lady I purchased it from said she had bought the Little Stool years ago in the Amish Country of Ohio. I am sorry that there is not a better story about the piece, but sometimes the truth just is not very exciting - but still it's a nice Little Stool - is it Amish???

It can be used to set a small plant on, to display small decorative items, set on the hearth safely or simply slide it under your favorite chair. The Stool is constructed in a very strong manner. The sides are each dovetailed into the Stool's ends and, of course, glued. The under beveled top is old square nailed to the sides; solid construction. The Foot Stool will just add a little more charm to your country room setting and a little more comfort for you.

        The Stool is 13 1/4" L x 7" W x 6 1/4" H.

Prices:  $110.00 in natural aged pine
$125.00 in worn and aged Grungy™ milk paint
