Carved Spoon Rack - 18th Century - Pennsylvania

This fine example of an early Pennsylvania Spoon Rack was once in the collection of Henry Ford. The Spoon Rack is 25" H x 12 1/4" W and is of one board construction. The hand carved Spoon Rack has an attractive splayed side design. This Spoon Rack is shown in my Grungy™ red milk paint. I found this rack in Russell Kettle's book, The Pine Furniture of Early New England, pg. 123. One Great Spoon Rack. Early graphic art at its finest. A wonderful decorating piece for your Home. I wonder what it would sell for if it was to be offered for auction sale today at Sotheby's in New York City. I imagine that it would fetch a price that would make Mr. Henry Ford both happy and a bit richer.

Price:  $525.00 in aged natural pine.
$590.00 in worn and aged milk paint.
